It used to be that if a guy wanted to get the attention of a girl he liked, he'd do something like pull her pigtails or throw a frog down her dress.
These days you can try exchanging a barrage of insults with her (but that works best if you are both English). Or you can simply show off in front of her. Laugh loudly and look her way (but don't point at her while you're doing it).
If all else fails, you might need to actually chat with her.

participate in an activity that she enjoys...get to know her friends...and eventually befriend her. she may seem cool from afar, but once up close and personal, you just might change your mind.
