Ok, I've never had a real girlfriend ever. I'm usualy quite awkward around the gals. I'm a college junior. I asked the girl in the suite nextdoor out, and i was denied. Ok cool. But lately I've been getting to know her suitemate. We talked about how we both don't like official dating, and just like chilling and hanging out. So that's what we do. Last night we had hot chocolate together at 3am. She says i'm sweet and doesn't understand why i don't have a girlfriend. I think I want to pursue her. Remember we both don't like dating. What's my next move? Do I make a move? I have a feeling she has a thing for me, but nothing for certain. HELP! I think i have a chance with this one, and when I typed this last sentence, she just Im'ed me....

I would continue being her friend and see if there are any clues that she is interested. I have been in situations like this where I was only interested in the friendship. The next move, i'd say is ask her out for a movie or dinner or a walk around the park etc and see its outcome. maybe at the end you can tell her how you feel. good luck!

Just keep doing what you're doing. Relationships only last when they're based on a solid friendship. Don't rush into the romantic part, even though I know it's hard not to! Take it slow and if you don't both like dating, just have fun together hanging out and don't worry about categorizing what you're doing or how it's going. Just keep your commucation open with her about what she's looking for (could be just a friend, so better not to jump into anything) and be honest about your intentions. Do not over-analyze the situation...just enjoy. Best of luck!

go out with her and have fun don't make it a date make it an experience, go do something you both like like maybe going to a restaurant to make fun of all the other ppl on dates?
