since you are going to be breeding her you need to get a vitamin that is high in calcium. Get an adult dog vitamin that says for healthy bones. you should be able to get this at your vet. In december before you breed her start her on a high quality puppy food and keep her on this until she weens the puppies. Also keep giving her the vitamins. you may notice a little bit of an weight loss but she should not loose as much as she did last time.
I did this with my rottie the last time that she was pregnant and she did not loose any weight and the puppies were large and healthy.

American Bulldogs ARE NOT Pit Bulls! Man, I am sick of that (grrr). Completely different breeds, if you knew anything about either breed (other than the BSL crap everyone likes to pass around) you'd see that really they don't even look like! I don't actually have an answer for this question, I just saw that first answer and had to make my point... again...

yes she does but she looks more like an american pit bull terrier or american pit bull terrier mix. Just make sure you take her to the vet regularly and worm her regularly, she's beautiful. thank you so much!:) She reminds me of my 3 year old American Pit Bull. wow i didn't even notice that she was a little thick...Greek God AKA Greekman good job for pointing that out!

Your vet can tell you the best vitamin supplement for a pregnant dog. It it true that since your pet had trouble putting on weight that she probably shouldn't have another litter, and many dogs loose their life to overpopulation. Some places have outlawed the breed and many people have lost their beloved pets. Please think twice about breeding your pet!

You had to know when you asked that you were going to get answers you don't want to hear.

And I'm going to join everyone else in telling you NOT TO BREED YOUR DAMN DOG!

Just what the world needs....more pit bull puppies. They kill several every day at our local pound. Nice of you to add to the problem. How about getting your dog spayed and saving some of the homeless pups instead?

DON'T BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE.
It doesn't matter how great your dog is, or that you find all your puppies homes, there are too many of them dying in shelters. Please don't add to the problem.
