A big red flag goes up with your question. Positively it is for the sex, but his behaviour borders on being a stalker. Be careful and be cautious.

i thin he is probably serious after all why not ? plus a year is a long time to just to wait for a quicky especially in a guys mind, why not ask him and find out that way
