Unfortunately the patent for Norvasc does not expire until 2007. While Teva Pharmaceuticals was given FDA approval in 2005 for a generic brand, right now Norvasc is only marketed in US, and its Istin in the UK. It appears Teva get the final approval to market the generic version after the Pfizer patent expires.

Norvasc is currently under patent protection meaning that no generic copies are available.
