god forgives everyone and nno prayers are wasted. It's he fact that are they willing to accept his forgiveness. Do u remember when u were five and u hit someone and ur father said say sorry so u did. Well what if they said apology not accepted. How would that make u feel. See were they willing to accept the apology?

why do you think you have to pray for gay people as a group? I am sure there are many gay christians. There are gay priests and bishops too. I am sure everybody in this world can take getting prayed for so you should pray for everybody and not just a select group of people. Favoritism?

um, what is homosexuality according to the bible? a sin? are you saying you are without sin? that it is a waste of prayer to pray for you and your sins/struggles? alcoholics are they a wasted prayer too? adulterers are they a wasted prayer? .... what makes you think they are any worse then anyone else?

does the bible not say "do not judge"? is hatred for certain people promoted in the bible? would god approve of those of you who call gays hellbound and unloved by god?

Are you praying for God to take "the gay" away from gay people? You want God to forgive them for being gay?

Perhaps I should start praying for the Flying Spaghetti Monster to take your bigotry away, or at least forgive you for it.

I doubt either prayer will effect much in real life, though.

No, God is not the author of confusion, and he did not make man to be with man, But sin is sin and God will forgive anyone who truly ask Him With Sincerity.

No prayer falls on deaf ears.....God hears them all. But, keep in mind that there are three answers to prayers: Yes, No, and Wait

The homosexual act is a sin...the desire or the being is not. One is not judged by one sin...even if it repeated often and willfully. Rather, one is judged by the total content of the person's deeds.

So, no, your prayer is not wasted.

The nuns in grade school taught me that Jesus forgives all...wasn't that the point of the whole New Testament?

Doesn't God forgive all? Isn't that the whole point of believing in Jesus as you do?

You didnt hear the catholic church wants to change their rule and allow gays in but not allow them to recieve communion. It looks like youve been praying for nothing and mans man made church can change its mind whenever it wants to.So why believe in the church when it doesnt even believe itself???????
