Cain killed his brother Abel before he was able to marry, and Cain did end up marrying and procreating with his sister, seeing as how the only people on the Earth at that time were Adam, Eve, and their children. At this time incest was necessary to populate the Earth. And since they were closer to perfection than we are today, the children didn't have the same risk of birth defects that we do today when incest occurs. As soon as the gene pool was diverse enough, incest was no longer needed.

Excellent question. Abel never married because Cain murdered him. It's entirely speculation to say that Cain married his sister. Truth is, we don't know. The bible is silent on where Cain's wife came from.

incest was ok in the beginning and after noahs flood to repopulate the earth. they married their sisters im sure. just because it wasnt written in the bible doesnt really mean much, girls were considered inferior at the time and if they didnt do anything extraordinare then why should they be mentioned? adam and eve were supposed to have lived over 600 yrs giving plenty of time to make lots and lots of babies. plus cain and able werent the only sons.

however if u believe that, then in all reality we are still commiting incest to a degree, since we all came from one set of parents, its like marrying distant cousins.

well, apparently Abel didn't live long enough to marry anyone. Cain, however, found a wife in the Land of Nod. the Bible doesn't say where the folks of Nod came from.

Gen 4:16 And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.

Gen 4:17 And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch

hmmmm i don't know where you folks get the idea that Cain married his sister as the Bible states quite plainly that Cain went to Nod and "knew his wife". sheesh! don't you folks read your own holy book?

Cain married one or his sisters. There was no mutated genes at this early stage of human existence, so there was no danger of genetic flaws being passed on to offspring. The incest law was instituted much later, to protect children from the bad mutations which had started to accumulate.

whether Cain and Seth had to marry their sisters this grew to become into on the begging of time and that i’m specific God mad it so any babies would not have extreme themes. Then as extra people have been born marriages began occurring between cousins and further kin. seem at our international on the instant there are what number billions of people. yet even on the instant we've people who will marry as close as 1st cousin in some countrys. It’s Taboo right here in the states yet i think of you are able to criminal marry your third cousin and previous that. Noah and his kinfolk have been the only people left after the flood subsequently in case you think the best e book we are all distantly appropriate.

They could have! How else would we all be here? It wasn't even just up to Cain and Abel to populate the world, don't forget, Adam and Eve had many more children than just Cain and Abel!

ok I am not a Christian, but cain killed abel so therefore abel never married. And cain married enoch which to me I have speculated that enoch being such a tribal name, that perhaps enoch was a primate, or a primative. I wish you well
