Dear Mr. Simmons,
This man may not be a looney but may be mislead. A church that does not allow dating??? That's no where to be found in the Bible... i am seriously curious about what this guy believes-- typically organizations that try to control someone (to that extent) are often cults.
Anyhow instead of bashing him- maybe try to help him you know... sounds like his church either teaches bad theology or it may be a cult...

Don't be mean. He's not that ugly, and all kinds of people that others consider "ugly" get partners. His beliefs probably do significantly narrow his dating pool, however.
