I ride with a barrel saddle, I like it because it has the round skirt and is smaller and lighter than a big show saddle. I mainly trail ride or just mess around at home. But I always feel like I'm leaning foreward and my feet seem to always end up behind me, like Im pivioting on my knee, its to the point where I auctually have to pull my stirrups back under me from behind me with my legs. Is it the barrel saddle that is making me lean forward and my legs go back?

Your saddle should not be putting you in the wrong position.
Is the saddle the right size for your body? If it is not to big you should be fine.
They are made with a really deep seat and swept back swells to keep you locked into position and to stay centered whne you turn corneres fast.
But if you feet are behind you it sounds more like you are sitting up on your crotch an not on your seat bones.
If you have a trainer have them look at you or have someone take a vidoe of you riding like in an arena.
See if your feet are in line with your hips and shoulders. If not you need to practice the proper position. Have someone set you into the position and get the feel of where you should be.
Practice practice practice it takes time to get a good seat.
If you are not comfortable in the barrel saddle look at other models you may find something that fits you better or puts you into a better position.
Good luck.

it sounds like to me that your saddle is not balanced vry good , take a look at the gullet at the front of your saddle , itmay be to wide and putting pressure o your horse , if so it just does not fit right , and your may need to get another one .
