I live in the dorms and I need advice on how to seperate my bedroom area from my bathroom area.

I doubt that you would be allowed to make those sort of changes to the dorm property! Best option would probably be a screen :D

I've made a screen/wall out of used interior doors. I got them for free by posting on freecycle (freecycle.org) I painted them with left over paint (also from freecycle) and used painter's tape to make cool designs on them. I then used the hinges that were still attached to attach them together. Three together was a good combo and was pretty sturdy. . .

I've also seen those grass mats sold at dollar stores for the beach, used as coverings on the backs of bookcases so the back looks finished . . .

you could attach some sort of removable pole across the upper walls and the do something like a slideing shower curtain, only with a thicker material

Tri or quad fold panals would be an easy to make, cheap, and somewhat tasteful way. When I was a red neck trailor trash we just hung up old sheets for privacy....LOL

Get one of those folding curtain walls. I'm not sure what the proper name is for them but some boutiques use them as a dressing room.

You could use a tall bookcase. I've seen it done in a small apt.
