There are two ways, one I think is quite reasonable, the other I think is superstitious nonesense.
1. You can buy various indexes to the Bible that will tell you which verses deal with which issues. You look up the issue and then look up the verses referred to where the Bible gives advice on the topic.
2. You flip the Bible open and just read it. The Bible is pretty open to interpretation and this method "works" by allowing your unconscious mind to "read into" the text what it wants you to hear! Works just as well with Tarot or any other divination method.

While the bible doesn't answer some questions about life, it does answer a broad spectrum of things which in turn can solve most any problem you could encounter. And always if guidance is needed ask for it in prayer, asking for guidance could give you a whole new sense of direction in times of trouble. The answers are not spelled out in the bible, but yet in a way they are all in there. With faith in God the answer will come. God Bless.

You can find answers anywhere if you really want to. I can read a Dr. Suez book and get answers to life If I believed enough. I'm not taking anything away from the bible as it can be a great life guide, but its about how much faith you have in something.

Its all there, just have to read it and understand it.
Just like you can ask.....will the USA win this war in Iraq or not and what else can we expect from it all.
Well look up the sections in the Bible about the bastard child coming to invade Babylon and what all happens. USA is the bastard child cause we are children of Europe yet without a King or Queen, making us a bastard. Next....Iraq today is the old Babylon....and to show it does work.....Saddam was captured EXACTLY how the old King of Babylon was, down to the spider hole even.

Because the Bible is the Word of God. The Bible is ALIVE! Many times, the Bible will speak directly and indirectly to my situation. It is amazing! But I could not understand the Bible fully until the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead, came and lived in me.

Interestingly enough, I've opened up the bible to a random page before and found an answer to a specific question. It happens.
Whether by God or by chance, I don't know.
Then, there are also bible studies, mentors, books and other sources to guide you to the right place.

The Bible is the guideline to Life's problems. So all we have to do is look to the Bible to answer all of our questions on how we are to live on a day to day basis.
May God Bless You!

If you read the bible you will see it has verses to do with every conceivable aspect of life. Even though the text is thousands of years old, the issues are still relevant i.e. sex, marriage, debt, anger, jealousy, desperation, death, friendship, human nature, success, failure etc etc
the list is endless and i could proabably give you a thousand passages to read. I suggest you get hold of a little New Testament and Psalms book, like the little red Gideons International ones. They have references in them that direct you to passages relating to your problem. try www.gideons.org.uk

thank God i didn't have to be born again. being a saint has many advantages, like if i have a question about life, i ask my own self and i get the best answer. beats rummaging through that holy book you apes like to read, which by the way is confusing and only an alien from outerspace would fully comprehend. hehehe...
