Hello. My name is Adam and I am a former Mr Arkansas and fitness trainer. I do have experience dropping weight for events. Well, first of all there is no need to worry too much at your age. You should be able to get your weight down fairly quickly. Your body is going through a lot of physical changes so don't ever feel like you're going to be stuck with 80 extra pounds the rest of your life. The good news is... you can loose the weight!!!
The best way to loose weight fast is to cut your cards. Don't listen to critics of this diet. I can tell you, from EXPERIENCE, that it works. The biggest myth to this diet is that you can eat as much meat as you want as long as you don't eat cards. Wrong!!! In order to loose the amount of weight that you are talking about will require low fat meat and absolutely NO sugars (example – ham, turkey, chicken). Yes, that's right. It means no pastas, breads, fruits, soda, and absolutely no alcohol etc....
I can tell you that this diet is extremely difficult to get started because of all the temptation out there. With the great holiday food coming around it’s going to be difficult to keep the discipline that you will need. Discipline is the key!!!! If you can get past the first two weeks then it is very, very easy to maintain. But those first two weeks are really tough. So, what would a typical meal look like? Breakfast – 4 eggs (with one egg yoke), and 3 pieces of turkey bacon. I like to sprinkle a little season salt on the eggs for a great flavor. Lunch – 1 piece of meat and a low carb veggie. Dinner – (always) boneless/skinless chicken breast and veggie. There are a hundred ways to cook all of these so that it is not soooo monotonous. For instance, sometimes at dinner I’ll cut up the chicken breast and fry it with onions and green peppers in olive oil and put it on a salad, just make sure the dressing is low carb. If you search online I’m sure you can find many ways to cook a low carb meal.
The next step is exercise. This doesn’t mean running 5 miles a day. It only means walking for at least 50 minutes every morning and working out with light weights 2-3 days per week. Walking at a fast pace on an incline burns almost as many calories as jogging, and I for one hate running. Kill the time by watching TV or listening to an audio book on your ipod while you walk. Doing this in the morning is the key!!!! Your body doesn’t have any spare carbs that it might have gotten from the food you’ve been eating, so your body burns every calorie from your fat storage. So while you’re walking just remember that you are 100% burning off the fat. It’ll get you excited!!!!
All of this boils down to how bad you want to loose the weight. Like I said before, the hardest part is getting past the first two weeks. After that, you are going to be so excited because you will literally see your body changing every week.
Please feel free to IM me if you have any questions. I would love to hear your progress. You can do it!!!

Regards,
Adam

You can not safely lose 80 pounds in 3 months. You need to burn off 3500 more calories than you consume to lose one pound. You would need to lose almost 1 pound per day...if you were on a healthy 1200 calorie diet then you would have to burn 4700 calories a day.

A healthy lose rate is 1 1/2-2 pounds a WEEK. Try for dropping 25-30 pounds in 3 months. A good exercise plan will help you firm up and look slimmer.

Geez, girl! There's no healthy way to lose that much weight in just 90 days. I mean, you could always starve yourself completely, or get the fat surgically removed. But I doubt you'd want to take either of those roads.

I'd suggest taking it slow and just trying to cut out certain foods, don't eat snacks between meals, and replace fattier foods with fresh fruit and salad. Also, exercise - try jogging twice a day, and go from there. You could ask your gym teacher for help coming up with a daily exercise program; he/she is probably more experienced with this subject than just about anybody on Yahoo! Answers.

You will need to accumulate at least 90 minutes a day of moderate cardiovascular exercise. Pay attention to what you eat. Make it a nutrient rich balanced diet but limit the calories you are taking in. Absolutely no less than 800. 80 pounds is a pretty steep goal, but you should notice a considerable difference within a few months.

If you drink alot of pop quit. You won't belive how much people gain weight just from pop. Eat more vegetables but without butter. Get proper exercise daily. If your not sure what to eat in all the food groups ask your doctor to set you up with a proper diet. When I started losing weight I went from 179 to 124 in a few months. Just be careful you don't take it off too fast .
Good Luck!

Your physique is going to pass into starvation mode, and hang directly to fat as superb it may. a brilliant element of the burden you lose would be muscle. then you definately will earnings weight returned, even with the undeniable fact that that's all going to be fat. ensure your every day calorie maintenance point and consume approximately 500 energy fewer than that. The human physique became into no longer meant to earnings or drop some weight without postpone. additionally, eighty pounds in 8 months is a approaches too plenty weight to lose in a the time you're giving your self in a healthily way. till you're very (120lbs or so) obese, then the burden comes off swifter.

You will not lose 80 pounds by then. To believe otherwise is delusional and potentially self-harming. The preferred rate of weight loss is 1-2 pounds a week. Even if you doubled that, you'd still only lose 48 pounds. I would suggest talking to a doctor if you truly need to lose that much weight and ask them to help you. Otherwise, try www.weightwatchers.com .

That's a lot of weight to shed in three months. There's no quick, healthy way to lose weight (IE: diet pills don't make you healthy, but they're bad for you). You could try doing at least 90 minutes of exercise a day (swimming, dancing, etc), eat lots of protein, fruits, and veggies, and drink lots of water and get at least eight hours of sleep a night.

You could also try weight watchers - it's a very healthy diet program, the healthiest you can do.

It is very dangerous to try to lose 80 pounds in 3 months, especially at your young age. I would advise watching what you eat, drink plenty of water, exercise, and consult your doctor for advice about what plan would be the safest and the healthiest for you.
