I'm going to visit my fiances' family in a couple of weeks, and staying at their house since I live in Michigan and they live in Florida. Wondering what would be the proper gift to bring to them , I need one for his grandmother, and 2 of his Aunts, and his uncles.
Have any ideas? I don't have any idea about frangerance they like to get candles or anything like that.
Please help me out with any ideas you have. Thanks

there are alot of things made in Michigan, Jams, Jellies, even Maple Syrup. Check the different sites and take something to them from your state....they will love it...I found this site but there are many more

You could make your own gift baskets from items found in your area....you don't even have to use a wicker basket....use a really nice bowl after you ask your fiance what their colors and likes are.

Ask your fiance if he knows of any themes any of them are into. Like my mom collects eagles, and my grandma loves anything leapord print... maybe you could get the ladies a nice nic-nac that goes with their decore. Do the men like to fish or hunt? Are they into sports? Maybe you could get them fishing tackle, or favorite team memorabilia....everyone is so different in tast. If all else fails, go online and look up some cute holiday craft ideas that you could make. Something from the heart and made by hand always goes a long way with family.

how about a bottle of wine. orrr if they dont drink, you can still go with the candle idea, just get unscented ones. if you're really crafty you can create a little ambiance (sp?) of a couple different sized pillar candles and a platform to put them in. stick with nature tones like browns, then you wont have to worry if u got the wrong color, it'd look good anywhere. good luck!

I like buying books for people, but you will need to find out a little about thier interests to make that work. Another gift I like to give in a water caraf and glass for their bedside, everyone likes to have water before they go to sleep. Good luck.
