Ps. 37:29: “The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it.” (Why People wants to go to Heaven?)

Eccl. 9:5, 10: “The living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all . . . All that your hand finds to do, do with your very power, for there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol,* the place to which you are going.” (If they are conscious of nothing, they obviously feel no pain.)(A bucket of water has turn off the firing hell.)

Ezek. 18:4: “The soul* that is sinning—it itself will die.” (*“Soul,” KJ, Dy, RS, NE, Kx; “the man,” JB; “the person,” TEV.)(No immortality here)

Job 14:13, Dy: “[Job prayed:] Who will grant me this, that thou mayst protect me in hell,* and hide me till thy wrath pass, and appoint me a time when thou wilt remember me?” (Why did Job wanted to be protected in hell? (Is not that place a horrendous, tormenting, despicable, give me pain for I deserve it?)

Jesus Christ said: “You should pray like this: ‘Our Father in heaven . . . ’” He also said: “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one can come to the Father except through me. . . . If you ask for anything in my name, I will do it.”—Matt. 6:9; John 14:6, 14, JB; (Many Christians are praying to saints, icons, and objects, thus completely nullifying these Scriptures.)

A note to Softfuzzy.. For what I Know JW are the only one that are not ignoring the Scripture like 2 Tim. 3:16 states. You are!
(Ex. 6:3; Rev. 19:6) Neither expression is ever applied to either the Son or the holy spirit. (Almighty)

"If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. How much more severely do you think a man deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God under foot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified him, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace? For we know him who said, "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," and again, "The Lord will judge his people." It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God." - Hebrews 10:26-31

This one is neither taught or practiced because it shows that the early Christians still followed the Laws of Moses.

i have lots, and all are ignored due to fact they make the bible more flawed, shows contradiction between verses. this is why they pick and choose only what they want and ignore the rest.
i have more...

1 Kings 22:22
" 'By what means?' the LORD asked. " 'I will go out and be a lying spirit in the mouths of all his prophets,' he said. " 'You will succeed in enticing him,' said the LORD. 'Go and do it.'

Jeremiah 20:7
[ Jeremiah's Complaint ] O LORD, you deceived me, and I was deceived ; you overpowered me and prevailed. I am ridiculed all day long; everyone mocks me.

Jeremiah 29:8
Yes, this is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: "Do not let the prophets and diviners among you deceive you. Do not listen to the dreams you encourage them to have.

2 Thessalonians 2:11
For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie

Isaiah 45:7
I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Leviticus 24:13-14
13 Then the LORD said to Moses: 14 "Take the blasphemer outside the camp. All those who heard him are to lay their hands on his head, and the entire assembly is to stone him.

2 kigns 2:23-24
23 From there Elisha went up to Bethel. As he was walking along the road, some youths came out of the town and jeered at him. "Go on up, you baldhead!" they said. "Go on up, you baldhead!" 24 He turned around, looked at them and called down a curse on them in the name of the LORD. Then two bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the youths.

Matthew 6:5
[ Prayer ] "And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full.

I am personally appalled at the number of people who ignore Deut 25:11-12.
"When two men are fighting and the wife of one intervenes to save her husband from the blows of his opponent, if she stretches out her hand and seizes the latter by his private parts, you shall chop off her hand without pity."

I mean, here you are, two God-fearing men, going toe-to-toe, when the other guy's wife grabs you by the family jewels! The prophets knew this was an ungodly act and called for the just retribution! Indeed, it's an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, and a hand for a ball! Why are all these women walking around with two perfectly good hands, I ask you?

Obviously we've gone soft .... errr, I mean ..oh well .. you know what I mean.

Eph 2 8-10 " God saved you by his special favor when you believed. And you can't take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus so that we can do the good things he planned for us long ago."
I hear many Christians recite verses 8 & 9, but they ignore verse 10. I believe that we are not saved by our good works as the bible says, but our good works are a manifestation of our salvation. Good works fall roughly into two categories. 1. Morals. 2. Serving others.
Many people call themselves Christians, but are so wrapped up in themselves, that they have no time to give any effort into the well being of others. And as for morals, most of them think that it is okay to cheat the government. Because everyone else does it, then it makes it okay for Christians to do it too. By cheating the government, we are really cheating our brother, because if the government does not get the money our of your pocket, it will get it out of your brothers.

How about the verses in the bible that call for death to apostates? The christians like to claim that Islam says this, while Islam says to actually leave apostates alone because spirituality is between the individual and God. I think a lot of christians are just ignorant. I also noticed they like ot call Mohammad (PBUH) a pedophile for doing what EVERY man of that time was doing, while ignoring the fact that Lot had children with his own daughters, offered them up to be raped, and Judah slept with his daughter in law making babies, and that Judah is one of Jesus ancestors. They ignore everything and blame all others for what their own bible says and nobody else's books says.

When you compare

Luke 2: 11for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

to the context of Luke chapter 1

Luke 1: 31"And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name Him Jesus.

32"He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David;

You will see that Jesus is not the Lord God, but the Son of God.

We also see that Jesus is the Savior because Jehovah used him to to fulfill the requirements of salvation.

So in Isaiah, Jehovah is the Savior who provided His Son.

So one of the scriptures ignored is Ps 83:18, and Luke chapter 1.

Here are some that are ignored by Protestant: Mind you they might not be EXACT, I am not near a Bible right now (at work), but here goes.

"Take this, all of you, and eat from it, this IS my body, which will be given up for you"-3 of the 4 Gospels

"They saw a sign in the sky, a woman clothed in the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars."-Revelation ?:??

"Go then, to the Priest, and bring them to the sick, for they will annoint them with Oil."- James

"He breathed on the Apostles and said 'Go, and forgive the Sins of the World'".

These are just some of them. Basically, they ignore these because these refer to what us Catholics do, and they don't want to associate themselves with the Catholic Church.

Because the churches do not really care for the truths taught in the Bible:

“However, I say to YOU: Continue to love YOUR enemies and to pray for those persecuting YOU;” (Matthew 5:44)

“Happy are the mild-tempered ones, since they will inherit the earth.” (Matthew 5:5)

“For evildoers themselves will be cut off, But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth. 10 And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more; And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be. 11 But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.” (Psalm 37:9-11)

“For the upright are the ones that will reside in the earth, and the blameless are the ones that will be left over in it. 22 As regards the wicked, they will be cut off from the very earth; and as for the treacherous, they will be torn away from it.” (Proverbs 2:21-22)

“Look! All the souls—to me they belong. As the soul of the father so likewise the soul of the son—to me they belong. The soul that is sinning—it itself will die.” (Ezekiel 18:4)

“The soul that is sinning—it itself will die. A son himself will bear nothing because of the error of the father, and a father himself will bear nothing because of the error of the son. Upon his own self the very righteousness of the righteous one will come to be, and upon his own self the very wickedness of a wicked one will come to be.” (Ezekiel 18:20)

“For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten. 6 Also, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they have no portion anymore to time indefinite in anything that has to be done under the sun.” (Ecclesiastes 9:5-6)

“His spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground; In that day his thoughts do perish.” (Psalm 146:4)

These are just a few of the many.

Judge not, lest ye be judged yourself.

Everyone judges others. It quite clearly states DO NOT JUDGE!

yet people are always judging people. "he's evil because he is gay", In the example, the gay man is in the wrong (according to the bible, not me) but then those who judge him as evil or disgusting are just as equally wrong in the eyes of their god. No where does the bible state that homosexuality is worse than judging.

This isn't taught because the current way of being allows people to feel better than others in some way. The homophobic might feel he's better than the gay guy, because he's not gay. The redneck feels better than their neighbour, because they aren't black.

It is a much easier road to hate and belittle others than to be tolerant.

In my experience though, the easy road, is very rarely the correct road.
