Part of it could be your bone structure, but not all of it. Many people think they're eating a lot when in reality they're accustomed to getting full at their maintenance level. Many have a high metabolism, but it really is about slowly increasing your calories to the point where your body can't keep up (everyone has that point). Healthy fats (unsaturated) can be great and are dense with calories, try peanut butter, healthy oils, etc... Putting on muscle will look and be much better than adding fat, although muscle burns extra calories, it's benefits outweigh the added minor trouble you'd have about needing more food. Try actually counting your calories, at your weight/height, you're probably in the mid 1000's of calories for maintenance give or take a couple hundred, try eating around 2500, slowly getting there over a couple weeks. See what happens, and if needed, up it to 3000. Lift heavy (learn how first) and eat big and muscle/weight will come, if even after eating 1000 or so more calories than your body takes to maintain your weight doesn't help, possibly see a physician. Good luck!

Well I can say that the best thing for you to do would be to maybe eat a little bit more daily followed by a nice walk in the park to help you digest. Gaining weight rapidly is a bad thing and one day you will regret doing it. Well thanksgiving is coming up so maybe a few pounds can be gained...but I think the best answer would be to keep a regular diet and exercise daily...good luck with that

I am 50 years old now, but my entire life, I tried to gain weight. I had the same problem you have- and I tried everything. Guess what? I just had a high metabolism that burned calories as fast as I ate them. You might have to live with it. You will eventually gain a few pounds. I am finally at 112. Stay healthy and excercise. I walk and dance and if nothing else, I have great leg and stomach muscles. Don't hate yourself. Use what you have to make you feel good about you. You will be okay.

Why dont you try to eat more that what you normaly will eat for example eat a lot of fatty foods, but try to be healthy abut it. also try doing some weight lifting you would gain muscle mass and muscle does weigh more than fat. And if eating dosnt work try going to a doctor to find out what you should do or maybe a personal trainer or nutritionist at your local gym.

We in the same boat. Here is what I did. I gained 20 lbs in like 3 weeks. Ok go to GNC or a health store and get some "Creatine Monohydrate". Get you some "Protein Shakes" or MRP's (Meal Replacements)
