I'm not sure, I know you can tattoo the inside of the mouth but the tongue has a major nerve running through it and you would have to rinse it with mouth wash so much to prevent infection that the ink probably would stay long and if it did I'm sure it would fade pretty quickly just like if you get the bottom of your feet tattooed....

you should call a tattoo shop for the heck of it and ask them

I read on the Lizard man's website that he had his tongue pierced but the ink faded almost immediately. However it doesn't say why the tattoo faded, the only reason I can think of is that the mouth is too wet to hold onto the ink.

Yes, it can. I had a friend who tattooed his girlfriends name on his tongue. Since I don't see him anymore I don't if it retained the ink-ask at a tattoo parlor.

Yes you may get a tat anywhere on any part of your body. However I am sure it will take alot longer to heal as it is a very naturally lubricated place. You should call a shop and ask how long what special precautions should be taken in such a sensitive area what are the infection risks etc...

yes. when someone is tattooed the ink is put into the cells of the body and then those cells replicate in the same place and the ink stays with it.

No- because of the moisture of your tounge and the tastebuds on it. Also, when you get something tattooed you have to get it padded up and the materials they use will not stick to your tounge and the ink will spread and could possibly ruin your gums/teeth.

The problem would be in keeping your tongue still during the process. But it could be done.

Why would you want to? Wait, never mind. People get it pierced so it may be possible to tattoo it.

i would assume that if you can tattoo the inside of your lip then you should be able to do your tongue.
