I don't know about foods, specifically, but from what I've read the herbal "milk thistle" and "dandelion root" are supposed to be good for the liver.

The liver is pretty tough.Toxins in your body put a strain on it.The best foods for getting out the toxins are green foods and any food that makes you have regular BMs.Like water,salt,bananas There are herbs that make you go too.Regular BMs is the best thing for the liver.Milk thistle is good too.

Your liver likes healthy food and drink. It downright LOVES water and will thank you if you feed it and give it lots of water.
It likes a well balanced diet of whole foods, not foods processed with chemicals.
