My insurance covers a whole $100 for prescription glasses. Is there any place that sells prescription glasses nearly that inexpensive? I don't need designer fashion - but avoiding black thick rimmed 1950s FBI agent style would be a plus.

Sometimes insurances are crappy like that. you should make sure that its for the entire pair of glasses. some ins. cover a portion of the frame and something for the Lenses. wal-mart or america's best... or a private optometrist may have some cheap glasses too. just look around.

it will be ideal to apply lenscrafters. it would fee somewhat extra, although the guaranty with them is better than on line--and also you'll get them adjusted each and each and every time there. also, if there is any breakage, you're contained in the device, and it is only way more convenient. do exactly not get talked into lots of lens "upload-ons" which will make the lenses fee way too a lot earlier the 1/2 value deal. if it is really a moderate rx, and also you'll really use them area-time, ask for the "uncomplicated lenses"---- that could also help out inclusive of your funds. reliable good fortune, Gnick

Try calling around. Some places offer $125.00 deal for select glass frames and exam. Then you only have to pay $25.00 out of pocket

hate to say it, but you can get a decent pair at wal-mart for around $60, but they go all the way up to like $300 and have all the top name brands.
