Personally, I found changing my diet and reducing stress to be the most helpful. I eliminated most sugar from my diet, including high-fructose corn syrup, which is very hard on your body. I eliminated sodas of any kind, diet or otherwise, and all artificial sweetners. And, I eliminated wheat in practically every form. This was tough, because wheat is in nearly every kind of processed food: gravy, salad dressings, cereal, soup, you name it. All of these helped to reduce my body pain and increase my energy.
