Just got back from a Hawaiian cruise and I was not impressed with Hawaii and it is very expensive. I have been on a mexico cruise and found that I like it alot better and alot cheaper. Hawaii is over rated the best place to go is the Virgin Islands.

Hawaii is very expensive. On a cruise all your food is already paid for. I also think that a cruise is one of the best vacations you can take. I love them. The only drawback is the alcohol bill you get at the end of a cruise but you would spend at least that much on alcohol in Hawaii.

MEX cruising might be cheaper but not nearly as nice as a Hawaiian Vacation. You can always hop on a cruise, how many times will you visit Hawaii?

well you really need to do your research on this one. it all depends upon where you eat in Hawaii. if you eat at upscale places, then probably. is it all-inclusive on your Mexican cruise? look into whether they cover soda & other things that people do want to have on their cruises. there are a lot of extra out of pocket expenses in a cruise that are not revealed initiallly.

i took a cruise to the bahammas where we ended up having to pay out an extra $500 for an "all-inclusive" cruise.... and this was only for soft drinks & room service for 2 people. if we had ANY drinks or did ANY of the excursions, then we would have had to pay a good $1,000 more.

it all depends upon the cruise because there are good ones out there & there are SUPER CRAPPY ONES!!!! and that is the one we went on. (by the way, it was a wedding gift & we had no say or research ahead of time)

by the way, you tend to drink A WHOLE LOT MORE on a cruise than being on your own because you are often STUCK on a boat without much of anything else to do besides DRINK, GAMBLE & EAT!!!!

I think that a cruise would be cheaper because your food is included, and in hawaii you have to buy everything.

But i think that it would be worth a few more $$ to go to hawaii, i love it there. Exspecially if you have a place to stay and how to get around. which you do.

Hawaii is expansive. In September i went to Hawaii and to Tokyo and believe me, Hawaii is way more expansive. This is because all Japanese people go vacationing to Hawaii and they spend a lot of money so they overcharge you. That easy!!

that's no longer mandatory. I took an identical cruise for the 1st time whilst i grew to become into 18 and that i grew to become into waiting to drink. Technically they are actually not allowed to serve you until you're in international waters (the place the eating age is eighteen) yet they are actually not too strict approximately it. i'm taking that cruise in November too (with the aid of Royal Caribbean). that's a great time to pass. have exciting and congrats!!!
