make a list of what you need/want to do in a day's time. I'm a big time procrastinator and I use this method. I'm also an over-achievor, so whenever I make a list, I make a long one. Whenever I see 5 or 6 things crossed out, at least I know I did something constructive that day! Good Luck :)

To be honest, I don't think anything can change that except for some type of incentive, and in this case I'm talking money. When I was a student (university) I bought a book on it, which basically broke down to being about more efficient time management, and tried using it. I stuck to the plan for about 3 days and then gave up (3days is my thresh hold for anything:diets, meditation, learning a new language, etc.).
What eventually worked took until recently. I'm 27. After college I worked a few entry-level jobs and still procrastinated because that was the atmosphere and the overall benefit of that particular job at the time was not special. Then came promotion, which came with big responsibility and big money. Unlike basic beginner jobs, this one was specialized, meaning only I had it and it was important-to the firm and myself. This new found importance, along with them money, instantly evaporated my procrastination (having my own secretary helped too). I believe procrastination exists due to not having anything interesting or worthwhile to do. This can be changed by incentives or passion for something. My friend loves jazz so he practices drums like 10hrs a day and loves it! Good Luck-and don't worry!

I've acquired matters like striking jewelry. I am going to do whatever approximately it in the future ... I believe procrastination is not always a loss of motivation up to a loss of esteem and advantage of what precisely to do.

You might consider whether you really want to stop.
From a personal viewpoint i think it is nice sometimes to have time to do nothing but apprecaite time.
