It depends... I definitely don't like a cry baby or a crying drunk. But, that's true for men and women. I do like a sensitive man. Especially an attractive sensitive man. There is nothing more attractive to me than honesty and crying is an honest emotion. I like looking over at my boyfriend when we are at a sad part in a movie... He has tears, I have tears and we laugh at each other. But, he is very manly. (I guess "manly" would be the word to describe him.) I do however have a male friend that is straight, straight looking and is even an exotic dancer. (We met at work... his other job... he's in security at the corporate company I use to work for. Just had to clear that up.) :) Anyway, when he drinks he calls me and cries continually about his current love situations. I mean he gets so bad that he gasps for air while trying to get his words out and crying at the same time. It drives me CRAZY! I definitely DO NOT like to hear him cry. I hope I've helped. I hope you have a wonderful day... one that doesn't require a kleenex. :)

I don't like men or women who cry too much. I had a very hard life on the street as a kid and survived a lot of crap, including a war, so I don't really cry that much myself. If you are a kind person and feel sad, I understand, but be brave, most people have it a lot worse than we do.

I find it irritating when people, men included, cry over stupid little things but if it is something that is genuinely worth crying over: the death of a pet/family member/friend, thoughts of death etc. then I find it endearing and deeply human. Guys who hold in their emotions all the time, however, are kind of terrifying and seem inhuman.

They have to, because all men are human, and therefore they all cry. I don't think it shows weakness, but sensitivity and humanity. What I don't like is men that fake cry to deceive or just to get a woman to feel sorry for them.

Straight looking??? so, are you straight???

and yeah, if your not crying at every little thing, but at the same time not afraid to show your feelings, yeah, sure. My dad always said that a REAL man, isn't afraid to cry.

I think that the saying "men don't cry" is stupid. I am sure you don't cry at innapropriate times. I think it's a great quality in a man to have a sensitive side and be able to express his emotions. : )

YES!It shows they can be sincere and understanding. My husband sheds some tears when he watches sad family movies. He also tears up whenever he talks longdistance with his grandmother. He misses her and wants to be there to help her but can't.He doesn't bust out in tears and whaaing like a baby.I sometimes laugh because I think it's sweet and I love him even more. ;)

I like a man who knows when it's o.k. to cry. I don't want to see him crying at some stupid movie, but if someone has just passed away then yes.

No almost every time I see a man on t.v. they are crying now. We are not women. We do not have the same emotions! SO STOP IT!
