That would depend on if Fred Phelps has accepted Christ as personal saviour or if he is just parading around "spreading the word". The athiest on the other hand even if they are leading a "good" life will not get into heaven without a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Matthew 7:21-23 explains it very plainly

If you're saying that the KKK guy has asked for salvation and is truly sorry for his wicked past, then he would go to heaven. I've got to say most people think they lead good lives, but are in denial. The atheist can live a normal law-abiding life, but I doubt it's sin-free. Sure, both these guys could get into heaven, but the black and white situation is the first guy, because he sought forgiveness and wants to be in heaven. That's what i have learned, anyway.
What I believe, however, is that we should stop judging other people on what they've done or are doing. Their path to heaven is between them and God. Not for us to decide.

Not everyone is going to heaven, not every Christian is going to heaven. There is a criteria: John 3:5,6.; Romans 8: 16,17;1 Corinthians 15;49,50,53; Revelation 5:9,10, Revelation14:1-3.
God's feeling about Homosexuals does not leave them without hope 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, spreading the word of God is important, but it is not the criteria for going to heaven.

Mr. Phelps group is mistaken to say that God hates "Fags". God hates sin. God loves ALL men ( term inclusive of the femine ladies so back off ;) ). ALL men sin. It is good that you are seaking answers. The fact that you want to know about heaven, means you have some concept of what is to come after you die. This is quite natural; we all die and we all wonder what is going to happen to us when it happens. You've no doubt heard stories of Heaven and Hell. Given the two options I think that most would agree Heaven is the more pleasnt. So then natually, you would want to know what it takes to get there. It takes "Faith." I used to think that faith was the absence of doubt. If I believe and do not doubt, I must have faith, right? NO! If I believe in a thing and I have no doubt, then I have Knoweldge of the thing. But If, based on my seeking to know a thing, I find enough evedence to have faith that it is, then truly faith is what I have. You CAN NOT "KNOW" there is a God and or a heaven. If you could, we would all be practicing the same religion! If I told you I met God today and He is back at my house and He wants to meet you. Whould you come with me to meet Him? And if you did find something there that convenced you that who you met was indeed God, you would have knowledge of Him not faith in Him. You need to find your faith in God. Once you have enough faith to realize you must enter into some sort of relationship with the one who made you, then religon simply becomes a process of discovering which way of relating to God, you are most comfortable with. The evidence for me leads me to a faith in the God of the Holy Bible. For others it is the Koran or the Book of Mormon. They are all ways of relating to the one who made us. You have to find the one that best fits your faith.
So, which one of these men will go to heaven is really an irrelivant question for you. The question you really want to ask is are YOU going to heaven. Only you can ever know that. Fiind your faith and you will find your answer.

I am of The True Christian Faith, and I personaly do not concider Phelps to be a Christian of any sort. It is true that only God and the individual knows who is and who is not of The Faith, but phelps' behavior is against the teaching of The Head of The Church who is Jesus The Christ.
No Athiest will get into Heaven... Only those who come to God in The Way He proscribes will receive His free gift of Salvation and enter Heaven. There is no other way. All who come to God in The Way become part of The Body of The Church of which Jesus The Christ is The Head. These are those of The True Christian Faith... The True Christian Faith is based upon The Truth of God's Promise to the individual. It is not based on any text, or on any man made doctrin or dogma. No "good work" will gain any one enterance into Heaven, No man can decree any one to be a Christian.
There is still hope for F. Phelps if he will come to God in full and honest repentance for his rejection of God's instruction and ask forgivness.... as there is hope for every athiest who will do the same... ALL may come to God if they will do so in The Way He proscribes.
I accept email questions concerning the basics of The True Christian Faith. 1 honest question receives 1 honest answer to the best of my ability.

First the only one who can decide who's going to go to heaven or hell is God. If Fred Phelps really reapent of his sins and put his trust in Jesus, I believe that he will go to heaven. (remember, Paul was a murderer before he met Jesus)
Work and good deeds won't save you. Only Jesus can save you.
If you want to do good, do it for the glory of God. Here's the verse
Matthew 6
Do Good to Please God
1 “Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven. 2 Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. 3 But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,
And yes there's hell, Jesus mentioning about hell many times. (e.g Luke 16:19). God love us, He doesn't want anyone to go to hell. But He's also just. If you go to the court room and see a murderer set free, then the judge won't be a good judge.
The only thing is people thing that they're good people, and deserve to go to heaven. so here's the web-site. hope you can find the answer

First, you're assuming a heaven, which not all people belive in.
The way I was taught, the Scientist would likely go to heaven, because the conditions of his training and upbringing brought him to a position of no faith, which he might not be responsible for. Fred, OTOH is a hateful man, rejoicing in the misery of others, so, he would most certainly be left out.
The way I believe though, is different from this. Being a Pagan I believe that we are all here to learn lessons. The Scientist is obviously further along in his evolution than Fred. Karmically, Fred is looking forward to quite a time in his next life.

this might probably make a reliable action action picture. As for God, nicely, the thought is that that's all approximately obedience. with the aid of fact the guy disobeyed the commandment to no longer kill, he's to be punished. If by obeying it he leaves his family members unprotected and suffering, nicely, mortal existence on earth isn't significant besides, that's the afterlife that concerns. no longer that I believe this philosophy, yet that's the winning Christian view. that's why that's not universally embraced. as a count number of actuality, this ethical predicament became into extremely dramatic in the time of the Nazi era in Germany, the place thousands and thousands of harmless human beings have been performed. Many others became portion of the resistance and did what they might to kill off the perpetrators. Did God "preserve issues"? that may no longer so very diverse out of your tale. yet, even a brilliant many Christians in united states of america of america cheer the killing of terrorists international, even nonetheless their very own lives and families are basically dimly "threatened" by them. Christians desperately prefer to have faith that there are hassle-free solutions to this predicament, yet there are none.

We are all sinners. Nobody deserves to go to Heaven. The only people who are guarantied access into Heaven are those who accept Jesus as their Savior AND Lord. And what I mean by allowing Jesus to be their Lord, they would be doing the will of God. Only the Holy Ghost, God Himself, can give us the power to live the Life that God is pleased with. That is why Jesus said that we MUST be born again. We need the indwelling of God's Spirit living His life through us and by being OBEDIENT to the Spirit of Living God.

Accordingly, you get to Heaven without any sin whatsoever. However you can do it, that's the number one requirement--no sin on thy soul. Christians accept Jesus as their Saviour and Messiah in the belief that their sins can be forgiven. Okay, so be it. Other religions, including the more primitive ones, demand certain actions and sacrifices. So be it, whatever.
(I'm not going to judge Fred Phelps)
