it's better to be part of the solution, not part of the problem.

Your question points out a real flaw in many Christian's idea that Jesus died for the sins of every person in the world (Arminianism). If that was the case, then everyone would go to heaven.

The Bible does not teach that however. It teaches that Jesus died for the sins of "His people" (Matthew 1:21, Luke 1:77).

Some people die in their sins because the sacrifice of Christ was not made in their behalf.

This is not popular, but it is Biblical.

Anything wrong we've done is'nt remembered, true.

But the only condition of believing in Him (the very act by which our sins are removed from us) is that we commit to stop committing them ..

Does'nt mean that we immediately can or do stop all wrong-doing, (like lying for example). But there is a lot of misconception about how to work this.

There has been a lot of mangling of how to deal with stopping whatever is wrong in us. Historically, a lot of 'psychology' has been pulled in, instead of dealing with it in the spiritual manner that it is meant to be dealt with in. It's clearly set out in black and white, how we are meant to handle stuff like this.

Technically, the ability to get rid of what is not right in us, is done through the fact that, being the temple of God now.. it is he who enables us to live correctly. And He says if earthly fathers know how to give gifts how much more is He likely to give his Spirit, if we ask Him..

And it's the Spirit, that is the power with which we can have lives that doesn't bring judgement.

So it is a case of asking.

Re being judged, once we accept the substitution of Jesus in place of the person (us) to be punished, we are completely absolved from everything that deserves punishment.

If we look around us ( and in ourselves) it's not hard to see that there's some really bad stuff going on (if we're truthful to ourselves). Morally, there's some real big come-uppance due.

And that's gonna effect not just now, the near future and later, but also the afterlife. And the afterlife being a loong time, it's gonna have a big impact on us, if we are wilful, or ineffective in getting rid of anything wrong in us.

For any believers, the ability to not just remove stuff that's wrong in us, but also to rely on God to have those around us know God (ie without judging/bible-bashing), is THE big question. After all, if there is no power in our lives, God is just a sham, and we should be ruthless in addressing that in ourselves.

If he is just a figment of our imagination, and we DON'T receive His power to do all the things that He says we should be able to do, then there is something seriously wrong (and we can't really be held accountable when we face Him).

After all what's the point of believing in anything, if it doesn't hold up ..?

Great question, by the way.

I believe it goes that Jesus died so people's sins could be forgiven at that time. According to the Bible, between Adam and Eve's banishment and Christ's death, the gates of heaven were closed. Forgiveness was not granted. When Jesus died for humanity, the gates of Heaven became open again and all was forgiven...in the past.

We, however, have to try our best to stay sin-free and go to confession to reveive forgiveness.

This is the kind of question Christian finds hard explaining to do. Why? Because they reject the sound principle of karma. As I have stated before, we live many lives inorder to perfect our mind so that our will aligns to God's will. That way there is a spiritual singularity - only the supreme will with a perfect mind being part of it.

Judging takes place after we die wherein individually and collectively our experiences in previous lives will be adjudged by us(spirit) and will be thrown back to Hell(earth) to undergo another learning experience.

What about the role of Jesus saving us? When we deal our lives individually we do our best to remove our ego until it is totally subdued. Jesus is egoless, a living spirit unlike us that needs to be born again of the spirit. Our ego concerns only the individuality of the soul. Jesus, on the otherhand concerns the collective ego of humanity because as living spirit he was open and feels collectively what a soul only feels that concerns him. Because Jesus was open the sin of the world becomes His. In karma( what goes around comes around) He took what comes around intended for the individual soul. He took the punishment collectively, suffered and died. If one happen able to reach the point where he is egoless, he doesn't need to undergo the same torture that of Jesus. Because being egoless means your thought aligns with Jesus and God. It is as if you have already undergone the same suffering Jesus had. That's were you are saved and survive the karmic cycle of life and death. Because Jesus has ressurected you who is egoless is also ressurected.

If being save according to Christian belief is true then why is there a need for Jesus to issue a directive that each of us must carry our own individual crosses?

We are only going to be judged for whether or not we accepted God's love of which Christ and his sacrifice was an embodiment. Thing is though, if you really accept God's love, you wouldn't look at this blessing so much as a license to sin. You would look at it as a license to be free from worry about the consequences of that sin.

This only applies to Christians, but you are right, our sins are forgiven that is whay Romans 8:1 says "Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus" When we get to heaven Christians will appear before the Judgment seat of Christ . 2 Cor 5:10 "For we (Christians) must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad." Our judgment is for the things that we have done and we will be rewarded for what we have done for Christ. Sin is not in view here but our sins do affect our rewards, since sin diminishes our ability to accomplish things for Christ. Some will get into heaven with little or no rewards.
1 Corinthians 3:10 According to the grace of God which was given to me, like a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another is building on it. But each man must be careful how he builds on it. 11 For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if any man builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13 each man's work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man's work. 14 If any man's work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward. 15 If any man's work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.

Jesus Christ, Son of God, was sent to our world to save us from condemnation.
Before, God give commandments/covenant thru Moses for the people to know...(to do these things, so, God will be happy with you...and do not do these things so, you won`t commit sins or God will be angry with you and the people.)
The commandment was misinterpreted, or not absolutely followed according to God`s wisdom and counsel due to differences in understanding. (God`s idea & plan vs. human misunderstanding & unwillingness to obey the covenant)
In the long run...miscommunications lead to rampant sinnings of the populations...and only very few may go to heaven...
So, Jesus Christ sent on a mission (preaching)...to save the world by modifying the law of Moses, practically living the covenant, telling everybody...that this what the Almighty Father wants you to know and understand about the law...and obeying the law will make all of you will be saved or be back to the Supreme Creator`s hand.
Because the high priests and officials are jealous of Christ innate knowledge of God and seems very authoritative...they can charge him sacrilegious, treason, impostor...for death punishment.
As the Almighty Father knows the evil tendencies of the people by killing the Son of God, so He claim more His victory by introducing to everybody...Christ RESURRECTIONS (life after death)... which becomes our Basic Faith in God`s existence, judgement and HEAVEN.
Being saved means...obeying God`s commandment... (which was simplified into 2: Love God and Love your neighbor as yourself).
If you cannot obey this simple commandment of God, then...when your time to die, you will be judged to determine where will you go...heaven or hell ???
