So I've talked with my boyfriend of 3 months about why he never seems to initiate anything physical. He said it's because he's complacent about sex, etc., NOT that he doesn't like me (he says he's super-attracted to me and that he loves me). Well, last night, he took my words to heart and initiated things. Right now, I'm feeling great; he really listened to me. The only thing, though, is that I'm really insecure about him going home for a month over winter break. He'll be across the country, I won't see him, and he'll see his ex (who he dated for 3 years). This worry is furthered by the fact that on Saturday night, I found that he sent her a text message saying, "I luve you." Granted, he and I had just had a small fight, and he was fairly drunk (we'd gone to a party). In light of his recent attempts to be a better boyfriend, do I still have cause to worry?

I can't really talk to him about this because I snooped around on his phone before, and he was really hurt that I violated his trust. I don't want to do that again.
