I'm a 21 year old male Uni student. I dont drink, dont smoke and have anything to do with drugs. Three weeks ago I started getting alot of pressure behind the back of my eyes and in my head - following that sharp pains at random locations of my head.

Been for an eye test and they cleared me, went to the Doctor's and he's set me up to have a blood and urine test done tomorrow.

Could this be related to a brain tumor or something else?

Many thanks.

hopefully not...
one common sign of a brain tumor are headaches that prevent you from sleeping, or morning headaches.

i would request an mri from your doctor.

The odds of that are low, it could be so many more likely things first. After the lab and urine results are in, if they are negative, have an MRI or CAT scan done of your head. Don't take no for an answer, be persistent, see it through.
Within the last month have you been put under additional stress or have you suffered trauma to your body recently or seen it to one of your friends? Have you ever been allergic to anything? What is the family history, go as far back as you can to see if anyone else had what you have now.
Good luck and God Bless

My Mum had a brain tumour which was cancerous and sadly she died from it, however it was diagnosed by her optician, so if the optician has given you the all clear I would very much doubt that it was a brain tumour. Apparently they can spot changes on the back of the eye that indicate tumours. Carry on with the test from your Dr and tell him your fears, I am sure he will reassure you.

A brain tumour is the least likely explanation, but it's not impossible. Try not to worry too much, you're probably fine.

And if it does turn out to be a tumor then get the drink and drugs in!
Might as well enjoy your last bit of time on earth :)

It sounds like a migraine to me. I get them infrequently, but when they do happen, they are just like you've described.
