Skype to Skype is totally FREE, Skype to a landline is about 1p per minute for most countries, Skype to most mobiles is about 10-15p per minute, most countries.

There is this service called skype, its totally free, all you need is a headset. My ex boyfriend lived in Germany and I in the US and this is how we communicated.

just get a five dollar calling card if you call from land phone to land phone you get like 4 hours or something.

first use email to communicate and find a private chat room or use IM phone can get REALLY EXPENSIVE!!!

skype! both of you chat over the internet and it just counts as local call...
