If the middle of my foot gets squeezed together, or my 2 year old steps on it sideways. I get a excrutiating pain. When I get up in the morning it is difficult to walk. I have a limp. But the pain is severe when I squeeze it from the sides in the middle of my foot. Is it broken? I don't remember getting hit on my foot anywhere. Please Help.

You need to let your doctor know what's going on. The only way to know for sure if you haver a fracture is to get an X-ray. Please do, especially if this problem has been going on for some time.

Of course, there are other reasons for this type of pain:

Only an x-ray and an examination by an Orthopedic Surgeon will tell you for sure.

We all know that Pain is an indication that something is not correct. This is the Body's way of telling us that something is wrong.

I am sure that very soon, you will be back having fun with The Two year old.

Good Luck,

Billy

Hello planar facitisis. A condition of the tendon that runs along the bottom of the foot from the heel to the ball. Usually caused from walking on hard surfaces such as concrete or just standing too long. Go see a podiatrist for some orthodics. Your days of going barefoot are numbered if not over with.

Please just go to the doctor and find out. There are about a zillion bones in your foot, andyour pain could be caused by many different things. Diagnosis by Internet is not very smart.
