You have to have your parent of legal gaurdian or you will not get your license. It doesn't matter who you drove with, your parents are the only people who can legally sign off that you are allowed to drive. If you want to not have to be burdened by your parents, wait until your 18. Otherwise, you have to take one or both of them. Unless the other person gains legal custody of you. Then, she can go in with you. It's a silly system, especially if you odn't live at home, but that's how it is. Just have your driving person tell your parents that you drove 20 hours or more and that she taught you.

My parents didn't sign anything. Why would they have to be there for that? No one has to sign for you if you wait until later on to get it, like if you're 21 or something. Just don't drive yourself there alone!

You're too young to get a license without your parents.

Yes, it can be another adult. I went with my nephew when he got his license. It didn't matter.

i didn't have my mom with me. i had my driver instructor with me, but they didn't need her for anything, so i would imagine that you can just go with whoever you want
