My husband is on Lexapro for depression and panic attacks. The first 2 weeks or so, it made him a little sick to his stomach, and drowsy, but after that the side effects disappeared. He now can hold down a job, which he couldn't before, and it never affected his sex drive ;)

It helped me quite a bit with depression. I went off of it though because it caused a significant lack of libido and I was trying to find the right antidepressant that would not have that side effect. Other than that though, I didn't have any bad side effects and it worked quickly.

i know of many people who have been put on lexapro.it seems to be the drug of choice these days. it has worked very well for all of them. no side effects that i know of.good luck

i was on lexapro but i did not work for me it made my heart race. but my brother is on it an it works great for his anxiety.
