The amp needs to match the total watts RMS of both subs and match the impedance of the subs depending on how they are wired. The wiring method also depends on how many voice coils each sub has. Whether the subs a SVC (single voice coil), DVC (dual voice coil) or other will affect the overall impedance (ohms).

This is very important when choosing the right amp.

800 watts MAX is NOT the same as 800 watts RMS. This information is also important to know to fully give you a correct answer.

Don't listen to ANYONE that just throws out a suggestion of what amp to get or what wattage since no specs are given. All they are doing is guessing which could get you into trouble.

if u want bass get atleast a 800-1500 watt 2 channel amp crunch has a cheap 1000 watt amp i got for my 2 memphis they kick ***

guessing that it is 800watts max then they are probably 400w rms each...so you can find an amp that is atleast 800watts total to power them correctly.
