It doesn't matter what you weigh if your goal is to 'be skinny'.

Your goal instead is to choose the size of clothing you want to wear, or your preferred measurements. Keep these based on your own skeletal structure.

For instance, I have a friend who is 5'9 and weighs 145lbs. She currently wears 8's and would like to wear 6's. Her ideal measurements are 36/26/36.

I have another friend who is 5'9" and weighs 105 lbs. She has a wrist bone so small that you can wrap your hand around it. She currently wears size 0 and wants to gain 10 lbs so she can better fill out her clothes and preferably wear a 2/4 (she has a thyroid condition) Her preferred measurements are 32/22/32.

I have a personal trainer who is about 5'5" and weighs 140 lbs. She is petite and probably wears size 4 clothes. But she is all toned muscle (which I think looks much better than skin on bones)

Myself, I am 5'7" and currently 160 lbs. I can wear size 6/8 at this size, but would like to wear size 2/4 again. For me this means dropping to about 125-130lbs. My preferred measurements are 36/24/34.

So it makes more sense to set a goal based more on size than weight. Muscle looks better than fat, and no matter what your weight is, keep in mind you have a skeleton that isn't going to change it's weight no matter what you do.

First of all, some people are born naturally skinny some aren't. I am 5'6 and weigh 100 lbs. I eat regularly(probably even more than regularly) and have a fast metabolism, however, I would LOVE to gain about 20 lbs.

Secondly, you can't go by any weight charts, everyones bodys are made differently, some people have small frames, some have large, and so on, if you eat regularly, get regular check-ups and are healthy, than your fine, I wouldn't worry about it.

Last of all, YOU ARE NOT FAT! If you honestly think you are fat, you might want to see a doctor or a therapist.

I am 5'5" and I weight 125lbs. I am happy with this weight because I weighted less and I was always being told that I was too skinny and looked disgusting. I now get comments about how good I look now that I have put on 10lbs.

It depends on a number of factors. Firstly your frame size, secondly muscle mass and also body fat percentage. You can't really go by weight, but at 5ft5 and 105lb (techically underweight), you are probably very skinny with around 18% body fat if you have a medium size frame. You certainly wouldn't want to be any thinner. HTH.

I'm 5'6" and I weigh 107...you're not fat. The average weight of a women standing my height is 130...and the average weight for someone your height should be around 105-145...you're fine for your height, so don't think any different.

Like others have suggested you can use the BMI as a resource but I wouldn't use it as an absolute. If you are curious, you can have your body composition taken by a trained proffesional. This will be a better indicator of your lean mass to fat mass and an appropiate weight for you.

Depends on your age, bone structure, body type.

I have heard 100 lbs. at 5'. Every inch at 5 lbs. i.e. 5'5" = 125 lbs.

You can search for a Body Mass Index (I think that's what it's called). I'm not sure if it depends on age but I'm 5'5 and weigh about 120.

A girl should not be skinny...at any height...it's not particularly attractive or healthy...

Per weight watchers, your range is 120 - 138 (if you are 18)...a lot of sites only give weight ranges for adults...but as a younger teen, that's still about right...

Your current weight is too low to be healthy or pretty...don't get hung up on looking like a stick figure...people like something to hug besides just your bones...

Take care of you...
