Hi! Heres my question. I want to get my 6 yo a bike for christmas. The one she has now is way to small, and she gor it when she was 3 or 4. But, since it's gonna be a xmas present, how do I know what size to get her. I know it's either 18 or 20 inch, but how can i judge which one? I want one with an adjustable seat, so the bike will grow woth her, and one that she wont qiickly out grow. But, i want her to be safe and not have to struggle to reach the pedals. Any opinions or bike experts out there? She is tall for her age, around 58 inches last i checked 6 months ago.

Measure her inside leg and a reputable bike shop will advise what frame and wheel size will suit her.

If she really is 4'10" then she should get at least a 20" bike, maybe even bigger. My sister is 4'11" and has a 24" bike and that works great. Good luck!
