The situation you have described, is usually the result of a virus. McAfee antivirus systems are horrible! I would suggest that you do a Google search for AVG, install and run this program. Once the program is installed, please let it update. Once the updates have completed disconnect your computer from the Internet, allow the program to run completely depending on the number of files on your computer this could take up to two hours. This should be able to root out the virus that McAfee is not finding! Good luck!
