My last period started on October 23rd...This last Friday..actually 3:30 in the morning on Sat!..I had unprotected sex. I was wondering if my chances of being pregnant are even high. I took a pregnancy test this afternoon and it came back Negative..I am getting really sick when I wake up and in the shower..but I may have caught the bug going around...I kinda feel akward..and my breast are really tender..I usually don't have that problem when I get ready to start...but it may all be in my head!..any help would be great! Thanks!

No..I didn't have sex on my period!..I started Oct. 23rd..Sat morning was Nov. 11th!..I know the guy!..We have been together for 10 years..so it is really good to be pregnant!..

Well, try this..go to www.google.com and type in this "ovulation calculator" it will bring up several links probably click on the first one, when you get to that site...you will type in the first day of your last period, it will calculate it... that is what i did and sure enough... i found out that it was correct and now i am 3 months pregnant. Now, I do know that taking a pregnancy test too soon can cause a "negative" answer. so maybe try it here in a few days... you period isnt due until next week. so try it maybe the day before...

Knowing you had unprotected sex could be messing up your period because now your worried about being pregnant. At the moment you are sick and when you are sick periods can come in differently. Don't be surprise if it starts within a week. If you still haven't had a period for about another month I would get yourself tested again and for the time being since you think there is a chance don't do anything that you wouldn't do if you knew you where pregnant.
This experience will help you to remember to protect yourself next time.............I know I went through this myself and never made that mistake again.

It depends, how many days after your last period did you have sex? If it was anywhere from the 10th day to the 16th day then odds are pretty good for you to be pregnant. I would still go to a Dr. to confirm. THose dates are from the first day of your last period. Hope things turn out ok. You should aslo get tested for other things too, especially if you don't know the guy really well.

You can get pregnant on your period, but i'ts highly unlikely.
When you want to be pregnant, you start to think that all of your symptoms indicate that you're pregnant. Don't get ahead of yourself!
Wait until you miss your period to take the HPT. Right now you're jumping the gun--the #1 reason for a negative pregnancy test if you ARE pregnant is taking it too early.
Don't count the sheep until you have missed your period!

I knew I was pregnant before I missed my period. Do you have that feeling. I also was nauseous and dizzy. I bet you are. I think a blood test would be more accurate right now. Although, some O-T-C ones can be done before you miss. I hope it all turns out the way you want it to.

The average couple while trying to concieve only has a 20% chance of getting pregnant each month. Also figure out when you ovulated. When you ovulate, the sperm only has 48 hours to get in to the egg to successfully reproduce.

You have to wait 2 weeks after you've missed your last period to get acurate results. It's too early to determine now, you might feel sick bc you want to get pregnant so badly. Give it some time.

Its far too early for a preg test to show positive! Its possible you are pregnant, but it is possibly a little early in your cycle to be highly likely :D
