The blood pressure will be maintained by increased sympathetic tone, leading to vasoconstriction. Sympathetic tone is increased by endogenous catecholamines (adrenalin/epinephrine)

The rapid heart is raising the blood pressure. With less blood that causes low blood pressure the higher heart rate normalizes it.
