I'm going to put this poem before class starts and while nobody is there. This is to prevent anyone from seeing who put it. As for people reading it nobody really cares about that stuff. Also it will be addressed to her but my name won't be written and shes always sitting in the same place since the beginning of the year. Also tell me how i should decorate the poem. I have an idea but i want other opinions.
To Pamela, the Princess of Mexico
When i think of the perfect woman
You are the only one that comes to mind
With the intelligence of a genius,
Eyes of an angel,
Hair as soft as silk,
And a smile that lights up a room,
No wonder you are God's only work of art
You're an amazing woman, an amazing person
You're special and irreplaceable in my heart

I think it's nice. But can i give you some advice? Most girls would rather you get to know them personally (as in becoming friends). There's nothing wrong with you appreciating her beauty but if you really care about her like you said in the poem talk to her. Not about you being in love with her. But maybe you could find out what she's interested in and become her friend. A poem like that is appreciated so much more if the girl is already your Friend. I am not saying don't ever give it to her I'm just saying wait until you develop a relationship with her then gradually reveal more and more to her about how you feel. By doing this you are gaining her trust which means so much more to a girl than a poem. Once she has bonded with you giving her the poem will be easy.

Seriously why does everyone say the poem has to rhyme? The greatest poets in history did not use hokey little rhyming lines all of the time.
You are sweet and I'm sure she'll love it because you're doing something most guys don't have the cajones to do.
Don't go nuts on the decorating tho, that's a little over the top. Keep it simple.
Good for you and good luck!!!

That is really sweet of you. And I really like the rose idea, thats sweet too. I am female, and you sound really nice so I want to help you. I don't want to offend you in anyway. If somebody left that poem on my desk, I kind of think I would be a little freaked out. Not because I don't know who wrote it, but because somebody felt this way about me without really knowing me. Maybe you should spend a bit of time with her first?
Gorgeous poem though, and don't worry about all those people who are trying to spoil it for you by saying it doesn't rhyme.
Good luck to you, I hope it turns out the way you want.

decorate it by putting two little holes in the paper and putting the stem of a rose through both the holes to keep the rose there. make sure it s a single red rose. it should work. i wrote a poem to a very special girl before and it worked without the rose but the red rose is a symbol of love.

It's corny.
If you want to write a poem abput her, let it be personal not something that could apply to any other person.
Also, describe other features aside from looks alone.
Eyes of an angel and hair as soft s silk are all cliches.
I guess it depends on your age, but if you want her to think of you seriously and romantically, you've got to be different. Give her something to remember you by in say 2,3 years.

Why go through the trouble of writing a poem just to leave it on her desk? Invite her to a poetry slam and make it a date and recite the poem to her then or take her someplace nice and give it to her, if you leave it on her desk you look like a punk

You know how I know you're gay....
Wow she is either going to be melted by your passion, or getting a restraining order against the psycho stalker that knows where she sits in class.
You should stick to beating it at home under the covers while you're thinking of her.
