Well, officially, the country is secular, due to the Communist regime. Because of this, most people, when asked, will state that they're not religious.

However, just because China's a Communist nation, doesn't mean that they can't worship. It just means that organized religions have to be supervised and okayed by the state. Individual people, far as I know, can have their own personal faith.

Among the religions that are practiced in China are Taoism, Buddhism, and some Confucianism. There are also various Christians and Muslims there as well.

Religion is there, with Buddhism, Confucianism and Taoism being the biggest ones, although the state is officialy atheistic. Those are the main three traditional religions that Chinese people practice.

not democracy!!! hehe.. but actually, people here are proclaimed buddhists, but in reality most don't know barely anything about being a buddhist, most here seem to think luck from gods is what buddhism is... It's all about wishing for money, women, getting material things, etc... Its pretty ignorant..

1.)Confucianism.

2.)Taoism.

3.)Buddhism.

Most Chinese people practice all 3 simultaniously, & the first 2 are complementary to one another.
