Someone who is Gothic isn't always a satan worshipper. True Gothic is more or less a lifestyle that embraces the darker sides of life. They don't neccesarily worship any devil or evil being, they just have a profound connection with the morbid, disgusting parts of life that normal people try to remain blind to. Gothics tend to see things for how they really are in life, not for how the happy-go-lucky people behind the Political Correctness Movement want us to see things. And as far as being able to tell who a satan worshiper is just by looking at them. Can you always tell a Jewish person apart from a Christian? How about Wiccan from a Hindu? What if they all worked in the same office that required a certain dress style. Would you be able to tell then? You can't always tell who or what someone is just by looking at them. That's why the Creator made the voice, so we can talk, discuss, and figure out things about others.

You can't tell by looking at them. The old cliche "You can't judge a book by it's cover" applies here.
I was Gothic at one time, and still am on Halloween or at a concert. I liked to be different. Once it became a "fad" I stopped dressing Gothic because I was not different anymore. I have always been a very spiritual person and have never worshiped satan, and many other people dress Gothic and are the sweetest people I know.
Check out Abby on the show- NCIS. Do some research and try not to be too quick to judge.

All goths do NOT worship Satan. In fact most do not. I have know some that were devout Catholics, Baptists and the like. A lot are simply agnostic. It's a style and a way of life for some. Judge a person by there actions not their appearance....better yet, don't judge them at all.

with any good fortune they'll %. the magnificent guy or lady for the pastime. As an aside - Obama isn't a Muslim and Romney isn't a devil worshipper. All vast lies. so a techniques as a Christian, lately we've not had lots achievement in that branch both. Separation of Church and State is mandatory and this question underlines why that's so major.

Regardless of your official religion (and very very few people, Gothic or otherwise are 'satanists')
You would do well to remember that often the most evil and depraved of folk are perfectly respectable looking, work, possibly even go to church...
Seriously, don't make the mistake of thinking that the way you dress and the music you like indicates your true nature, because that is rubbish.

It's hard to tell, but the goat head under one arm and the Bible of Satan under the other might be a clue.
And no, not all Goths are Satanists. I'd be surprised if 1% of them were. IT's more of a style then a lifestyle now. I'm Catholic and I love Goth clothes.

The ones who are truly worshipping Satan, do not look anything like what you would expect. They may even fit in your church because they look so conservative. You wouldn't know a Satanist if you saw them. The ones who can do the most damage in this world, are those who look like they are 'christian'. Keep in mind, this is our cultural idea of what christians should look like.
Many churches are infiltrated at high levels by witches and warlocks. With our easy way of joining churches, Satanist can easily lie and say the 'Sinner's prayer" and fit in. But only in the Orthodox Church, during the Exorcism prayers, that are said before Baptism... do you have to renouce Satan and all his works and all his angels and al his pride, three times. Then you face west, breathe and spit upon him. Then the exorcism prayers are said. No other church does this as far as I know. Perhaps the Roman Catholics still do this, but I haven't heard of it.

I truly believe you shouldn't judge a book be there cover. Sometimes people can look normal but deep down be satan worshipers. I guess God only knows who are and who aren't but people can like a still and be Jesus Freaks, go figure!

You can't tell. Just like you can't tell if the person who lives next to you is a murderur or a rapest. It's stupid that people automatically think that goth people are satanists. I had goth friends. They were actually christian! Their style is just like people who dress like hippies or punks. Their clothing are just an expression. Not a full deffinition of their religion.

horns on head and spiked tail are good clues.
Seriously, I think we should avoid trying to size up a person by their looks alone. Admittedly, some goth people I have seen look like they have at least met Satan - but I try not to judge by appearances alone. It's not healthy.
