Can a pregnant woman who drinks coke handle an ADHD child?
No, seriously, I don't know if it has anything to do with it. Coke in general has caffeine and there are disadvantages of caffeine in general, and for your baby's and your health sake, I would recommend you try to stick to water, milk, and 100% fruit juice so the developing fetus can grow strong. It is a small price to pay to give up soft drinks to have a healthy baby in return. If you or whomever is pregnant, good luck! :o)

Pregnant women should avoid unhealthy foods and beverages. But, if you are craving a coke, drink a coke. Just don't over-consume. Maybe get the small cans and drink one of those when you get the craving. Limit yourself to one a day or one every other day.

Coca cola contains caffeine as do many other sodas. Obstetricians generally advise to keep things in control. If you always drink coke, your body will crave it, so try to drink minimal amounts and caffeine-free is a better choice. The caffeine-free Coca -Cola is actually quite good! Try to abstain in first 3 months and then, if you are craving, just drink 1/3 the amijt you would normally drink. If you don't want a baby screaming with caffeine withdrawal, then don't get him/her addicted pre-birth!!

I did and have 2 healthy kids BUT....
Are you diabetic?
Have you had any risky pregnancies
Is there a history of High blood pressure in your family?
Those are 3 things that might make you think twice. Coke is high in sugar and caffeine and can cause complications. Talk to your ob/gyn and see what is right for you.

I'm assuming this isn't a coordination question...
Your personal take on the significant intake of sugar (I think a coke has 65grams, but check me on this), the caffeine (a bit, but not as much as coffee), and your doctor's recommendations should determine that.
There is also some new rumblings about the phosphoric acid and bone density issues or some such, but I haven't checked that out in detail. Please do before slammin' your next Big Burp 66oz. Mega-Pee Cola, Mom.

Doctors will tell you to stay away from anything with caffeine in it while pregnant. If you crave a Coke....have one, just drink it in moderation.

Yes but it has to be caffeine free, you don't want your baby coming out jumping around the room with a caffeine addiction!
