I think you can. First century Christianity is nothing like the overbloated monster that has become "Churchianity" as we know it today. To have a relationship with the Christ without the extra baggage would be very personal and probably a heck of a lot more fulfilling than joining the fan club.

Yes. For example, my one friend believes in Christ but has never had a religious affiliation to any church. He can answer any question you have about the bible and he acts more Christ-like than anyone I've ever known. A lady I work with goes to church every Sunday, tells people she'll pray for them, wears Christian t-shirts, always has her bible somewhere close by... and is one of the rudest, most arrogant people I know! Who's really more of a Christian? My friend... who's not part of the fan club.

sure but believing in HIm and accepting Him are two different things. Mulsems believe in Him, Jews believe in Him and even some of the various pagans believe in Him - however they don't accept and Love HIM as Jesus our SAviour. IMO that's the difference.
If you have accepted Jesus, I can't see why you wouldn't join the "fan club". now some people are more extreme members - like tat football games - there are those that go and participate and then there are those that paint their bodies the team colors, dress accordingly and know every stat and such.... and then everything in between. i'm an in-betweener most often.

Yes, fan club is optional, I personally cannot afford the fees. So they wont let me in. But I still believe in Jesus as the Christ.

I'm guessing at the meaning of your question. But, if you mean can someone be a Christian without joining an organized church, the answer is yes. Salvation if a free gift of God with no strings attached - you simply believe the Jesus did all the work to atone for your sins, was buried and resurrected in victory over death. You don't have to join a church. However, it is very beneficial for a Christian to be with other Christians - it helps us grow, love, learn, etc.

The fan club is strictly optional.
You only have to join if you want to become eligible to win the backstage passes.

ABSOLUTELY - half the time, the problem IS the fan club.
In my opinion you are safer to stay home, read the Word and be able to discern people before you ever step foot into any church or fan club.

Ofcourse
Heck, I do.
Because Im muslim and we HAVE to believe in previous scripture and prophets (not necessarily act on all of the scripture tho)
to me Christianity has long been updated by a higher version. Called Islam.
Now, to all those who think Islam is a bad copy, I ask of you.
Which author would take the time to copy a book and then make it obligatory for the people reading it to go and read the original?
Arent copies made to steal the credit?
Cheers.

of course.
i observe the bible, but have no ties with any organised religion.
god is everywhere, u do not need 2 go 2 any special building, on any particular day 2 worship god.
live an ethical, principled life, obey gods commandments and observe his rule of law.
and u can worship god in ur own way.
