Yes.

The idea is not to cook the cookie dough, so line a cake pan in plastic wrap.
Push the cookie dough into the cake pan, sort of like you were making a layer of cake out of play-dough.
flip the pan over onto a plate that can go into the fridge.
Take off the plastic wrap.

Do the same thing with softened ice cream.
Place this new "cake" layer onto the top of the cookie dough layer.

Then freeze these together in the fridge for 4 to 6 hours before the big event.

15 minutes or less before you are going to serve the the birthday boy, pull out the "cake" and frost it with store bought frosting. Decorate it as you want, stick some candles in it and serve.

Cut it up like a normal cake. Use a sharp knife run through hot water. This will help it slide through the "cake" layers.

Hope this helps.

Make a cookie cake.... like they make at the bakeries in stores. its the easiest... just get refridgerated cookie dough from the store and smush it out to fit a round pizza pan. bake then decorate.... i know what ur saying by putting pieces of cookie dough in actual cake which sounds amazing to me cuz i LOVE cookie dough but anyways they can do that in icecream because i believe they eliminate the raw egg in those chunks of dough when its in the icecream, some process so it doesnt sound like something that u can put in a cake, because u have to bake it, otherwise im sure they would have that product out there already! good luck!

You could make a regular cake and then make a filling out of pudding and coolwhip or maybe some cream cheese and add chunks of cookie dough.

It sounds gross to me however. They do sell "cookie dough" candy maybe incorporate that into the filling as well

probably not chunks of cookie dough because once you bake it the dough will also cook

there are the large cookie pizzas... someone else said something like that already but here are some additions to that idea...

Fruit-Topped Triple Chocolate Pizza

Refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough makes a convenient crust for this dessert pizza featuring a white chocolate filling and a colorful fruit topping

1 package (18 oz) refrigerated cookie dough
2 squares (1 oz each) white chocolate for baking
2 Tbsp milk
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
¼ cup powdered sugar
1 cup thawed, frozen whipped topping
12-16 strawberries cut in half
1 can (11 oz) mandarin orange segments, well drained
¼ cup semi sweet chocolate morsels
1 tspn vegetable oil

1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Shape cookie dough into a ball and place in center of Large Round Stone. Using lightly floured Baker’s Roller, roll dough to a 12” circle, about ½ inch thick. Bake 12-15 minutes or until edges are set. (Cookie will be soft. Do not over bake.) Remove from oven; cool 10 minutes. Carefully loosen cookie from baking stone using Serrated Bread Knife; cool completely on baking stone.
2.Place white chocolate and milk in Small Batter Bowl. Microwave on high 1 minute; stir until chocolate is smooth. Microwave addition 10-20 seconds if necessary. Cool slightly. In Classic Batter Bowl, combine cream cheese and powdered sugar; mix well. Gradually stir in white chocolate mixture; mix until smooth. Fold in whipped topping. Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over cookie.
3.Arrange strawberries and mandarin oranges over cream cheese mixture. Place chocolate morsels and vegetable oil in Small Micro-Cooker; microwave on HIGH 30 seconds or until chocolate is melted and smooth. Drizzle over fruit. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes. Cut into wedges.
Yield 16 servings.
