Okay so me and my gf have been dating for almost 10 months now, and she always used to say that she wants us to get our own place, and she said that she could see herself getting married to me. And last night she told me that she might move out of state and she doesnt want me to go with her, and she doesn't want to actually move in with me in the future. So i told her that i cant allow myself to get more attached to her, and i asked her if she spent another year or more with me if she'd get attached at all, and she said that she can't promise anything? What does that ******* mean!!!

I think she is playing games to see where your head is. A woman is not just going to want to live with a guy if she doesnt get anything out of it in the future. If you didnt respond to her when she made those comments about her moving in and that she could see herself getting married to you that threw her off. So now she flipped it around so that it looks like she doesnt want you when really she does. It is a game!

well she probably said that because she thought she was gonna stick around and you guys would be together and everything would be dandy. but now thats those plans have flown out the door and she's moving outa state then she figures a new state, new people, long distance..all that is no recipe for you guys to still be together. her moving out probably sparks her ideas and fantasies of meeting other ppl so she's basically hinting to you she wants to break up. so i'd say...if she's not sure and she cant promise anything then she's not the one for you. if she really did like you or possibly love you then distance wouldnt matter and nothing would change her mind of the plans she had. trust me..i know long distance relationships.. and if both are willing they can work

When she told you she can't promise anything that general means don't get your hopes up cuz it prolly won't happen. It sounds like the way she felt for you now and how she felt then has changed and its a good thing you don't want to get any more attached. I say move on find a girl who it into you

this woman is confusin, even i havnt got a clue what she means. Well at first i didnt. i think that she is confused with herself, on one hand she wants to stay and on the other she doesnt want to. she may be feelin as if the relationship between you both isn;t really headed anywhere. Ask her straight, dont beat around the bush because communication between one person and another is compulsary. Ask her. Goodluck

she's confused, and something is going on in her life that's making her very unhappy, she wants to get away from everything that seems to be holding her down/ back she probably doesnt want to get rid of you at all but because you're part of the situation she is in, she's running from you too. this is my assumption as thats how i've been feeling lately, like just quitting my job, leaving my house, my friends everything starting somewhere new, with no mistakes, no ugly memories, just a whole new life.

It means she's done with you. Move on and be glad it was only 10 months and not 10 years and a wedding and a couple kids later.

I'd have to agree with jennifer on this one, She just wants to keep you around for a safety net if she is telling you that crap and isn't sure if she woulf get attached. Go find yourself a girl who is gonna be honest with you about her feelings.

End the relationship. Tell her that you are not interested in dating someone who is not serious about you. Be strong.
She has clearly stated that you have no future, toghether.
