How do I write my international mailing address?

Say my mailing address inside the US is:

John Doe
123 Anywhere Lane
Nonexistant, TX

How should someone writing me from outside the US address the letter?

adding USA or United States of America at the end of the US recipient's address will tell certain country's post office to send to this country first, usually will send to major city's airport, then send them to the recipient's state. then city or town, then your house's street.

And if you are mailing to other country's friends, same method. Just write their name and address and then write their country at the end of the address of where their house or office at. Remember, it has to be after the city name or province name. (ex. if im sending it to South Africa, write the country name has to be after the city name like Cape town. So you would write 123 Anytown lane., Cape Town, South Africa.). Another one would be if you are writing to a city thats in a province like Australia, then write 123 Anytown lane, Sydney, New South Wale, Australia

Most seem to write England, Wales, UK etc....Some DO just put England, which is technically wrong. England with a capital , or in capitals, but UK is capitals! Have family in the USA, and I have, unusually, lived in THREE of the FOUR component parts of the UK; England (now) and Wales and Scotland. Relatives put England, UK now, and did similar when living in Scotland and Wales!!!! Get all my post!

Just need to ADD USA or AMERICA after the ADDRESS ! If you still ahve problems you can ASK your local POSTMAN !
