Microsoft does let you have a free sixty day trial for their office standard 2003 edition. Click the link here: http://www.microsoft.com/office/editions/prodinfo/standardtrial.mspx#EAB and it will take you to the download page where you can download the trial. Personally a better solution long term is a program suite called OpenOffice. It is made by Sun Java and it is their version of Office. It is completely free and has all the same tools that Microsoft Office does. If you are looking for that long term solution click the link here: http://download.openoffice.org/2.0.4/index.html?focus=download to download the OpenOffice suite. It has almost the exact same layout as the Microsoft Office suite and it will be easy to use if you are used to the look and feel of the Microsoft Office programs. Pick whichever you like and hope this helps.

You can download a free trial 60 days standard version of office 2003. Don't be involved into illegal stuff.

You could use the trial or use Google Spreadsheet program. Its just as good as Microsoft's and uses the same file formats.

Here is the link:
docs.google.com

You do however need a gmail account for this. If you need an invite send me an email and I will send you one.

Microsoft's website has a PowerPoint viewer available for download. I'm pretty sure you can't actually use it to edit or anything though.
