generally eating a lot of rice would make you gain weightt because its carbohydrates. but the reason why asian people are all so small and thin is not mainly because of that- its because they eat good food like fresh vegetables, seafoods, lean meats - and hardly any deep fried foods, sweets or prepackaged foods.
Thats really not the case in the U.S. , only in asian countries, every one in every race is and can be fat here- very sad actually

No rice does not make you skinny. Rice is high in starch though. Also, when eating rice they eat a lot of vegetables too, and many asians don't eat fast foods like americans do. So, basically it has nothing to do with rice it's all about having good eating habits and eating the right types of food

There are three main ways to lose weight quickly.

1) Use only water as liquid and eliminate all other liquid drinks from your diet. You must drink as much water as possible every day. You must drink about half of your weight. If you have weight of 200 pounds then you must drink about 100 oz of water.

2) The interval between the eating is very important. If you eat once, then you must eat next after 4 hours. You must take breakfast regularly. In the night eat your food three hours before going to bed.

3) Walking is very good. You must walk as much as you can. Walk everywhere you can. Use of elevators and escalators must be reduced and instead of these you must climb stairs more often.

These are some of the fastest ways to lose weight. By just following the simple steps, you can lose your weight very quickly. You must consult your doctor if want to change your diet or exercise routine.

Well it depends. If you're eating just rice then yes...you will loose weight...and muscle mass...and energy. A perfect example are US POWs in WWII taken by the Japanese. They were fed rice all the time and became so skinny they looked more like Holocaust victims. Vice versa, Japanese POWs couldn't eat our normal food since they were so use to their diet. So it's more about balancing your diet with rice than actually starving yourself with just rice for health reasons

Protein need to lose weight and to repair muscle after working out. When muscles repair themselves, they grow. But that depends on the type of exercise. Usually lifting heavy weights breaks muscles more. So, there is more growth during repairs. Add a healthy fat into your diet, too. Salmon, flax seeds, nuts, olive oil. There are many useful information about losing weight and building muscles here:

If it's just weight you're worried about and not inches, do a colon cleanse. Ideally, we need 35 grams of fiber per day. Average Americans only get 12. Increase your fiber. Eat beans, oatmeal, fruits, vegetables, drink between one half and one full gallon of water per day. Exercise (heavy breathing, sweat dripping) for at least an hour every day. It won't be fun. It won't be easy but chances are it will work. No meat, no dairy, no sugar!

Yes they do, but if you notice it is mixed with veggies and meat. Too much rice a lone is not good. Rice absorbs water and until you drink a lot of water you could cause tummy problems.
These people have lived on rice all their lives You on the other hand have not.
