i've just had 3 for my tea as i couldn't be bothered to cook anything that took a long time. i had one with lemon and sugar, one with golden syrup and one with grated cheese. yum!!

APPLE PANCAKES

2 cups Bisquick
½ t Cinnamon
1 Egg
1 1/3 cup Milk
¾ cup Grated Granny Smith Apple (no juice- squeeze or press out the juice)

Mix first 4 ingredients. Stir in Grated Apple.
Enjoy.


APPLE CIDER SAUCE

1 cup Sugar
2 T Cornstarch
¼ t Cinnamon
¼ t Nutmeg
2 cup Apple Cider
2 T Lemon Juice
¼ cup Butter

In a saucepan mix first 4 ingredients. Stir in Apple Cider and Lemon Juice. Cook stirring constantly until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir for 1 minute. Remove from heat, add butter and stir until Butter is completely melted.
Serve and enjoy.

Try having an egg fried in ground nut oil also why not a full English breakfast and pancakes ?
But I think the best pancakes served to me was in a hotel in Liverpool called Feathers hotel I stayed there for a month while working in Lime st, anyway back to the pancakes. The pancakes were served hot with fruit and ice-cream for a sweet, Delicious

My favourite pancake filling would have to be cut up banana's.. and the top them off with some good maple syrup.

Cherry pie filing and vanilla ice cream, with icing sugar sprinkled on top of the pancake. It is disgustingly fattening but yummy!

I've never had a filled pancake. I have had pancakes with blueberries or chocolate chips in the batter. Is this what you consider to be a filled pancake?

I love strawberries & whipped cream on my pancakes, but another favorite is whipped butter and maple syrup. mmmm I'm kinda craving pancakes now! :)
