i just got measured in school today i am 5`5 do you think im tall or short for my age. how about shoe size 5.0-6.0 mens. do you think that is normal. lot`s of girls tower over me in my grade. and im in 8th grade.

Average height for a 14 year old boy is around 5 foot 6 or so, so you're about average.
Girls hit their growth spurt earlier, but they stop growing sooner. You'll catch up.

You're about normall w/ your height. I don't know about shoe size... my brother is 14 and he's a 10 1/2 and alot of the guys in my grade are around 8 or 9.

yeah you are short for you're age. I'm a 12 year old girl and i'm 5'8 but hey i'm tall for my age. You'll probably grow taller soon, you just haven't hit your growth spurt as early as some people do. And girls grow taller at a younger age than guys do :)

i think that you are fine. you will catch up. i grew from 5th to 6th grade, and hated it. i went from 4'8" to 5'3" in one summer. i was always having growing pains, and loved sports because of my height advantage. i topped out at 5'6", and now i hate being "short" i wish that i was taller...
you still have your whole high school career ahead of you. dont worry about it now.
about your feet, it is better to have small feet than big feet... trust me... i wear a 9 in mens! (a 10 1/2 in womens) my feet are just one size smaller than my boyfriends...

You're just starting to grow, but remember genes are what decides your height.
My nephew was 5'3 when he was 13....he's now 6'4 at 19 years of age.

girls usually grow from 7th-9th grade. boys usually grow after that. your height will shoot up in arround the 10th grade.
