Sorry your info you received is not accurate. You can only get pregnant the day you ovulate. However sperm lives for about five days so if you have sex a few days before you ovulate you can get pregnant then too and if you have sex on the day you ovulate it can happen then, but after ovulation occurs you can no longer conceive until next month.Good Luck and if you are planning on getting pregnant start taking prenatal vitamins now. They help prevent birth defects.

there' s a good chance of getting pregnant because it's recommended that you have sex before, the day of, and the day after ovulation. The egg lives anywhere from 12-36 hours and sperm can survive for up to 4-6 days. Therefore, it's not impossible to get pregnant the day after ovulation.

well in my case ....i indeed got pregnant the day after i was ovulating....and now i just learned im 5 weeks pregnant....sooo yes
