Well i am sorry that you're going through pain, it's certainly not easy I understand. Being happy has a lot to do with your surroundings, your environement, what's affecting you from the outside, how old you are, your job, etc. There are few things that you can do to overcome this despite its dificulty. Start by grabbing a journal, write everything you do in your daily life, including details, such as taking a shower, using the restrooms, drive, sitting in traffic, whatever it is that you do everyday. Then every night before going to bed, try to read what you did last week the same day (so the first week that you start you won't have anything to read, but if you start today, next wednesday you should read what you wrote today). Also, grab a peice of paper and write down ONLY the good things, this should be a list of things that make you happy (you can do this just once a month or so) and there HAS to be something, don't worry about not being rich, or having this problem or that problem, start by the very basic things you're thankful of having, such as, i am healthy, i have a good eye sight, i have a roof over my head, i eat everyday, etc. These are little things that 99% of people take for granted (especially us Americans) but in reality it's acutally a luxuary that God gave us and that He can take back ANYTIME He wants. Then anytime there is something that makes you mad, just take a deep breath and think, is it really worth getting upset over this?
This process will take a few months to get used to, but i promise you that you can very easily see progress. I don't know if you beleive in God and i am not trying to force you to, but people who believe in Him and trust Him, understand and are convinced that He will NEVER give us anything more than we can handle; it's His promess whether you're a beliver or not.
You can also try to make new friends, good friends, i mean friends who come from good families, trustworthy, helpful, inviting, you can usually find them at a mosque or a church, having positive people around you will affect your view of this life. Also, try to go outdoors, see nature, see what God created, enjoy what you see and thank Him for this marvelous sight, marvelous creations, and exquisite ecological equilibrium.
I understand that life can be tough sometimes, but life is very beautiful and worth enjoying despite everything bad that's carried along with it.
I hope this helps and if anything else arises and you want to talk let me know i'll be gladly helping :)
Have a great day.

It's really hard to let go of old wounds and broken hearts. The best thing I can tell you to do is to help someone else with a similar problem. By talking to others about how they are doing and getting along, you sometimes find the best clarity for handling your own problems. The most important thing to realize is that there are others that share your feelings and have managed to carry on. It's not the problems we have that make us sad, it's how we handle them. We can become bogged down by all the b.s., or we can rise above it and think, well my life may not be great but it's a jumping off place for even better things ahead. I wish you only the best. Good Luck!!!!!

I am so sorry to hear about your pain my dear. Have you thought about talking to a friend, or maybe a counselor perhaps? Sometimes talking to someone helps release that pain that seems to want to stay inside of you. I had experienced such pain when I was diagnosed with MS. I had tremendous pain (mentally and physically) and found that talking to someone other than my mate, or parents really helped me a lot. I have now learned how to control that pain and also how to release it. Please think about talking to someone, as it will just eat away at you and make you more miserable. My thoughts and prayers will be with you always. I do care about people; even total strangers, I really do care. Take care of yourself.

Everyone has pain everyone suffers. You need to find how to be happy yourself only you can be happy. It's not just gonna happen it's a choice. I personally find happiness in the fact that all the pain hasn't killed me yet which means I'm a bad ***.
What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger.
You should always hope for the best prepare for the worst, and expect nothing.

Talk to some one that you trust and love. Just dont keep your feelings inside this can hurt you a lot. Read a good book This helps me when ever i'm upseat because I just fall deeply into the book and its easier to forget about what I was upset about. Just talk to some one about it. The more you talk about it with someone who cares and you listen to their opinion you can get a diffrent perspective of the problem and let go off it easier.

talk to yourself alot. Start the day with a I am going to be happy today attitude and sometimes a positive attitude works. If you are a book reader, read, Your Best Life Now by Joel Osteen. I read it when I feel down etc and it is uplifting
